Transport Compliance

Plumwood use an in-house developed solution, which helps us manage your compliance needs. It focuses on creating a management culture that’s programmed to deliver greater compliance and cost savings through driver education, policy and procedure development and management checks and controls. Where driver training, although essential, often has only a temporary effect on performance, our system provides an entire management structure, equipping you with the tools to enable you to make lasting changes, monitor your driver’s performance and demonstrate continuous improvement.

Our systems will prompt and remind you to ensure you hit all your maintenance key dates i.e. MOT’s, PMI’s etc. Your Plumwood account manager will use this tool to ensure that these documents are present and checked for completeness.

As a compliance client you will have access to view your bespoke portal containing all your management information and KPI performance.

The benefits of our Client Portal are far reaching:

  • Techniques and methods to deliver continuous improvement
  • A structured way to implement change, develop KPI’s and monitor the results
  • Specific and targeted actions to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Monitoring of compliance with your operator licence, undertakings and obligations.

Our systems have been carefully designed and can be tailored to suit your specific operation to keep you compliant with all legislative requirements including Work Related Road Safety, Driving at Work, Health & Safety in Road Haulage and the Operator Licence.

Compliance Audits
Plumwood can attend your premises/operation to undertake a full assessment and report on your overall transport related compliance. This comprehensive report is presented in a clear and precise format together with an action plan for improvement.
